Since this is a key role, you will serve as the go-to expert for high-priority incidents. Therefore, you must be comfortable working independently and making technical decisions quickly. Additionally, your primary tools will include SQL, AWS services, and backend debugging.

As part of your day-to-day (or night-to-night) tasks, you will:

  • First, analyze and resolve complex technical issues using logs, SQL queries, and backend tools.

  • Next, assist L1/L2 agents by providing advanced support and clear guidance.

  • Then, identify and fix software bugs. If needed, you’ll also deploy urgent hotfixes safely.

  • After that, handle database queries and migrations in PostgreSQL or ClickHouse.

  • In addition, take ownership of incident responses for P0/P1 issues.

  • Moreover, lead root cause analysis and document detailed resolutions.
